The Go Forth Stirling team are seeking sponsors for the city’s 2024 Business Awards including a headline sponsor and backers for the various award categories.
A range of sponsorship packages are available for the prestigious honours which take place on March 20 at the Albert Halls.
Meanwhile, members of the public have just over a week to vote for the outstanding independent retailers who have reached the longlist for the awards.
They can pick their favourites in each sector via www.independentstirling.co.uk/awards with voting set to close on Monday January 29.
Go Forth Stirling BID’s Project Manager Danielle McRorie-Smith said: “We are extremely excited about our second annual awards night and looking forward to celebrating and rewarding Stirling’s fantastic independent business owners.
“We’re now seeking sponsors who are keen to demonstrate their commitment to the city’s business community by championing the awards.
“A strong community creates employment, attracts talent and produces a healthier and wider business network across the whole area and being a sponsor offers the opportunity to position your brand or business alongside a comprehensively marketed and high-profile Stirling event.
“The Stirling Business Awards are a non-profit making event with all sponsorship being used to make the occasion a great experience for all involved.”
The awards packages include a main overall sponsor, sponsors for the eleven award categories and an entertainment sponsor. Full details, outlining the costs and rewards, are available on the dedicated award page – www.goforthstirling.co.uk/business-awards/

The Stirling Business Awards 2024 highlight the exceptional business owners and teams behind Stirling’s flourishing independent community and are voted for by the public.
Award categories include Café/Coffee Shop of the Year with The Pend Cafe, Victoria’s Coffee Shop, Vera Artisan Bakery, Unorthodox Roasters and Cisco’s among the ten initial nominees.
Meanwhile, those longlisted for Hair & Beauty Business of the Year include FrownDocs, Jayla & Co, Brown Bear Barbers, Room 23 and Allure Style Studio.
Further award categories feature Restaurant of The Year, Visitor Attraction of the Year, Charity of the Year, Pub/Bar/Club of the Year and New Business of the Year recognising businesses which began trading in 2023.
There is also a Business Support Services award for companies offering services such as graphic design and IT consultancy and a Service-led Business honour which includes healthcare firms, solicitors, tailors, property letting companies and more.
The final award is the special honour of Outstanding Contribution to Stirling with contenders including Record Store Day by Europa Music, environmental charity Transition Stirling and the Fairy Tale Trail organised by local businesses Tinkerbells Emporium and Nevermore Tattoo.
Ms McRorie-Smith said: “We’ve been thrilled to see so many people getting involved and casting a vote for their favourite shop, pub, charity, hair & beauty salon, visitor attraction and the other independent businesses listed in each award category.
“There’s still time to vote, if you haven’t already done so, before we collate and reveal the shortlist of businesses who have made it through to the final.”
Once voting closes on January 29, a shortlist of three businesses per category will be drawn up before each sector winner is announced at the black-tie awards ceremony in March.
The annual Stirling Business Awards are one of Go Forth’s many initiatives which aim to support the area’s business community.
Go Forth Stirling is the city’s Business Improvement District (BID) which represents more than 600 business owners with a key objective of increasing visitors to the city and devising initiatives to help make it a more welcoming destination for businesses and shoppers.
