A new strategic partnership will shine a spotlight on the enhanced experiences and economic benefits that cultural attractions can create for Scotland’s towns centres.
Kirkcaldy-based ARRO Lighting and Events has become the latest organisation to become a strategic partner of Scotland’s Town’s Partnership (STP). It is an alliance which brings together STP’s national leadership in place development with ARRO’s innovative approach to lighting, placemaking and creating cultural experiences.
Together, the organisations hope to encourage the creation of attractions and experiences which will boost businesses in communities across the country through more vibrant, engaging and economically resilient public spaces.
The partnership will also underline the importance of investing in projects that not only enhance the physical environment but also generate lasting economic and social value.
Kimberley Guthrie, STP’s Chief Officer, said:
“Partnership working is at the heart of successful town centre regeneration. By working with Arro Lighting and Events, we can support towns and places to think creatively about how lighting and cultural experiences can enhance their public spaces, attract visitors and support local businesses.
“This partnership reflects a shared commitment to creating thriving, sustainable towns and aligns with STP’s wider place-based regeneration principles to ensure our towns are not only more attractive, but safer, more accessible places to live, work and visit.
“By combining strategic insight with creative delivery, we will support communities to unlock the potential of their places.”
