New Advice Note Published on COVID Recovery Funding and Support for Improvement Districts

A new advice note has been published by Scotland’s Improvement Districts to inform of guidance and support available to improvement districts during the ‘recovery’ phase of the coronavirus crisis.

The note includes initial information about the Scottish Government’s Towns and BIDs Resilience and Recovery Fund, through which £700,000 has been set aside for BIDs and will be available to apply for in September, to cover the period October 2020 – March 2021.

The document also provides advice to BIDs and local authorities around issuing levy invoices and voluntary contributions from October 2020.

The advice note can be accessed by clicking here or via the SIDs website’s resources page.
