Kirkintilloch Business Improvement District Steering Group have been awarded funding by the Scottish Government to develop a Business Improvement District (BID) in Kirkintilloch, East Dunbartonshire. An individual experienced in developing and providing direct support and services to business users is sought to fill this post.
The role of the post holder will be to deliver the BID programme of work, following due process and develop a BID Business Plan that local and national businesses and stakeholders will vote positively for in August 2020. The Kirkintilloch BID will encompass Kirkintilloch Town Centre
The preferred candidate will have a track record of successful project management, preferably in a BID or similar environment, will be a skilled communicator with proven negotiation abilities and comprehensive experience in a service environment. You will be a highly motivated self-starter with a real passion for achieving results. This fixed term post will require you to work closely with stakeholders at all levels, including local businesses, East Dunbartonshire Council, Police Scotland, and Scotland’s Improvement Districts, the national agency supporting Improvement Districts in Scotland.
Salary (commensurate on experience): £26,673 – £30,502
Term: fixed from 1 July 2019 to 30 November 2020
Hours: negotiable, subject to minimum requirement set by the Steering Group
Location: Kirkintilloch Town Centre
