The next meeting of the Cross Party Group will focus on ‘Towns – The Evening Economy’ and will also incorporate the Cross Party Group’s Annual General Meeting.
For those who have not attended, the purpose of the Cross Party Group is to analyse policy prescriptions and develop ideas and innovations. This will help Scotland’s towns and town centres through the current economic climate to emerge stronger, smarter, cleaner, healthier and greener. The group will discuss ways in which Scotland’s towns can work towards sustainable economic growth through greater vibrancy and vitality. Members comprise MSPs and a wide range of place stakeholders. A different theme is covered at each meeting, combined with opportunities for members to raise questions and network.
