Break the Chain: Scottish Business Resilience Centre Webinar

Delivered by the Scottish Business Resilience Centre, this webinar will look at ethical business practices, current trends, threats, what businesses can do to eradicate labour exploitation and ensure there is no scope for exploitation in their recruitment or supply chains.

The event takes place in the build up to the Police Scotland’s media campaign targeting Labour Exploitation entitled ‘Break the Chain’. This is due for launch in the Spring 2021.

The webinar is free to attend and will be opened by DCI Stephen Healy Police Scotland National Human Trafficking Unit NHTU.

  • Detective Superintendent Sheon Sturland based at Devon and Cornwall Police and head of the Modern Slavery Organised Immigration Crime Unit. MSOICU coordinate police activity all over the UK with regard to Human Trafficking/ Modern Slavery.
  • Shan Saba, Director of Brightwork Recruitment and Scottish Government Action Area 3 Commerce lead.
  • DC David MacCrimmon, police officer embedded at SBRC.
  • DI Peter Lennon from Police Scotland NHTU Investigation Team.
