Clarksfirst BID secures further £10,000 funding

During the pandemic there have been opportunities for BIDs to apply to the  Scottish Governments BID COVID19  Resilience Fund, Rounds 1 & 2. Round  1 was all about COVID-mitigation and  the funds were to be used in such a way  that the BID reached out to the entire  community and not just the BID Area.

Clacksfirst BID secured funding that would allow  us to distribute upwards of 8,000 face shields  to the Clackmannanshire care and business  communities as well as desk top screens and  social distance signage.

Round 2 of the funding was aimed at delivering  recovery support to our BID member businesses  and organisations. In this round, Clacksfirst  BIDs application was built around delivering a  bespoke Clacksfirst Online Training Academy  and that is now in place for all our members to

use and every course is free-to-members and  CPD Accredited.

Round 3 of the Scottish Government funding  is centered around development and this is  where we are now at. The BID will work with  partners to create a strong message that  Clackmannanshire is ‘open for business’. The  message will be focused on the county being  open to trade as well as inviting investment into  a fantastic, central business location with great  connectivity to Edinburgh, Glasgow and beyond.

There is an abundance of successful,  established businesses based in our county,  known throughout the UK, as well as the  rapidly growing Biotech sector firmly putting  Clackmannanshire on the global diagnostic map  supporting the fight against COVID-19.

The campaign will be delivered to a defined target audience across multiple digital channels.  We are at an early stage however, we’ll be sure  to let you know when it is launched.
